Our Next Chapter

Beginning in September 2026, The Rooted Cup will transition from a full time café to a community centered sober social house. We will be focused on intentional events and experiences while continuing on with our mission to create a welcoming, alcohol free environment where people can connect and build lasting memories together.

Café Hours

While our focus will be shifting towards events, you’ll still be able to enjoy your favorite drinks during our regular café hours. We’ll also be expanding our café offerings with fresh additions including larger drink sizes, more food options, and some additional surprises that are still in the works.

New café hours beginning September 1st:

Thursday: 3pm-8pm

Friday: 10am-8pm

Saturday: 10am-8pm

Events & Experiences

From Sunday through Wednesday, we will have a blend of both public and private events. Information on upcoming events can be found on our event page and will have times of the event and when the doors will open to the public. We will also share event details on our Facebook and Instagram pages.

Some experiences you can look forward to include:

  • Curated trivia nights

  • Creative paint experiences

  • Live music

  • Workshops & classes

  • Vendor events

  • Movie nights

  • Tea tastings

  • And more!

Private Event Rentals

Rent out our beautiful space for your shower, party, work event, gathering, and more, Sunday through Wednesday. See more details under our ‘Private Events’ page or email kristina@therootedcup.com

Preorders

We will be starting pre-orders of our house made syrups, scratch made artisan bread, & premium loose leaf teas. Pre-orders will open on Sunday and close Wednesday at 5PM or when we sell out for the week. Pickup on pre-orders will be available Friday & Saturday.

Why we’re making this change

This transition allows us to focus on what we believe matters most, which is creating experiences that bring people together. Our hope is that The Rooted Cup becomes a place were connection happens, creativity flourishes, celebrations feel meaningful and everyone knows that they belong. We want to continue providing opportunities for people to gather and find small joys in a space free of alcohol.
