WHO YA GONNA CALL?
Bust out your proton packs and gather your crew because Ghostbusters Trivia is coming to The Rooted Cup on Tuesday, August 18th at 6:30 PM!
This isn't just trivia, it's an immersive Ghostbusters experience!
We're excited to welcome the Ghostbusters of WNY, who will be joining us throughout the evening! Meet the Ghostbusters, check out one of their incredible Ghostbusters vehicles, snap photos with fun props, and enjoy an interactive trivia night that's packed with laughs, nostalgia, and plenty of surprises.
We'll also be serving a specially curated Ghostbusters themed food and drink menu available exclusively during the event.

A fun and relaxed creative experience!
Whether you’re a seasoned artist or haven’t picked up a paint brush since elementary school, this night is all about laughing, creating, and spending time with friends. You’ll draw a mystery prompt at random when you arrive.. it could be something whimsical, silly, nostalgic, or completely unexpected. Your challenge is to bring that prompt to life, however you choose to do so.
If you’re not feeling your prompt or have another idea you’re excited about, go for it! Participation is completely flexible and you can paint whatever your creative heart desires.
This isn’t an artist guided paint class and there won’t be a reference image provided. Instead, everyone paints at their own pace, in their own style, and at their own skill level.
Leave with a painting that is uniquely your own!

Tea Party Experience
Whether you're just beginning your tea journey or you've loved tea for years, we'd love to have you join us for a relaxing afternoon designed to celebrate the simple joy of sharing a cup.
You'll enjoy five pre-selected loose leaf teas throughout the afternoon, each accompanied by a tasting note card to help you discover what makes each one special. While we'll offer gentle suggestions for which teas pair nicely with each course, there are no rules. We encourage guests to sip, explore, and enjoy them in whatever order feels right to you.
Your ticket includes:
• Five loose leaf tea tastings
• A welcome starter plate
• A selection of freshly prepared tea sandwiches
• A mini dessert plate
The menu is thoughtfully prepared in traditional afternoon tea portions, with light bites that complement the teas and create a leisurely, enjoyable experience.
$45 per person. Vegan options are available.
Seating is limited and will be arranged in advance. If you're attending with friends or family, please let us know when registering so we can seat your group together.

The Rooted Cup’s monthly Book Exchange is a relaxed gathering to connect with fellow book lovers in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Discover something new to read while sipping on a delicious beverage with friends.
This event is free to attend! Bring a book from your collection, wrap it to keep its identity a secret and add a few clues to hint at what’s inside. Each person will take turns choosing a book from the pile to open and decide whether to keep it or place it back to the pile for another mystery selection.
Expect great company, thoughtful conversation, and the simple joy of sharing stories with others who love books just as much as you do. Whether you’re an avid reader or just looking for cozy evening, we’d love to have you join us!

Free Community Skill Swap: Syrup 101
Join us for a beginners guide to homemade syrups as part of The Rooted Cup’s Free Community Skill Swap series. We’ll cover the basics on creating fresh syrup using simple ingredients like fruit, spices, and herbs that can be used in tea, coffee, on dessert and more.
During the workshop, we'll make a syrup together from start to finish and discuss different flavor combinations, techniques, storage tips and common uses. Please not that we will not cover sugar free syrup.
